Mrs. Carter is a long time breeder with excellent experience and breeding line and is always there to answer any questions you may have to help you raise a healthy and happy yorkie. Her website is also full of advice and stories from many, many other happy customers. Her dogs are well loved and taken care of. Our Vet was really impressed at our puppies first check up, you really can't go wrong with Carter Yorkies. They are beautiful and train well.

His personality made me fall in love with his breed of dog. Mrs. Carter put my mind at ease when I asked a million questions about how to take care of him. I was looking for an especially calm puppy to train for therapy work and contacted several breeders none of whom I knew. Carter Yorkies was the only breeder that offered to ID a puppy for that purpose. I ended up with a puppy I named Webster. Webby earned his Canine Good Citizen and his Therapy Dog certification on his first birthday. By his fifth birthday he had achieved Gold Status by volunteering 500 visits. Do not take this to meam I drug him off to volunteer against his wishes. He was able to let me know where he was uncomfortable and we eliminates those opportiunities. While he is a very successful therapy dog he is much more than that. He is my boy, my companion, my buddy. He is eight years old, goes to work with me most days, travels with me, and,,,,, need I go on? I have had dogs all my life but none have been as important to me. I will have another Carter Yorkie down the road and I will ask Lisa Carter to pick the right dog for me. Neglected to say, he is a healthy, happy, beautiful little guy. His hair is smooth and soft and I am proud of him every time someone steps up for interaction with him.
